It is also true that this 'patriarchy' as some call it, has brought
us hot showers, electricity, and the cathode ray tube. But this powerful
force that also pushes cigarettes and suppresses marijuana, that
pushes automobiles and cuts mass transit funds, that takes money
from hardworking people and funds corrupt politicians and corporations, is
woefully out of touch with nature and the forces that permeate
our world.
