The photos in the galleries below were taken in about 1991 at an abandoned
sewage disposal plant in north of Denver, Colorado. They represent a small fraction
of the graffiti that covered the acres of ceramic tile and cement. The
place was a labyrinthine maze of curved and flat walls, concrete rooms, and
tunnels - Imagine the place under a full summer moon in the wee hours swarming
with happy taggers, performing their ephemeral, brilliant art for its own sake
and their love of it. Now, it's all been replaced with pressboard condominiums.
